The Night Before
We will be having casual drinks at the venue on the Friday evening.
This will be held in the public restaurant/bar room of Grand Villa Heights from 7-9pm.
Attendance is completely optional, but if you’re around it would be great to see you ahead of the big day!
There is plenty of parking, or if you are getting a taxi we recommend pre-booking (taxi numbers in FAQ section below).

FAQs
What is the dress code?
Please wear appropriate wedding attire. The bridesmaids will be wearing hot pink and the groomsmen will be in black tuxedos, so we kindly ask guests to avoid these colours/styles if possible.
What are the options for accommodation?
The venue does have rooms available but they are on the pricier side, you book via the website: https://grand-villa-heights.com/staywithus/. We recommend staying in Scarborough which is around a 20 minute drive away and has plenty of accommodation available. There are also some options in the village of Ravenscar itself or in the close by town of Robin Hoods Bay (also around 20 minutes away by car).
Are children invited?
We kindly request that our wedding is an adults-only day, with the exception of family children. We hope you understand!
How do we get to the venue?
There is a large car park at the venue if you are driving, or we highly recommend pre-booking taxis if you are not staying on site. Here is a list of local taxi numbers:

What time does the night finish?
The evening reception will finish at 12:00 midnight.
Do you have a wedding registry?
You being there to celebrate with us is enough! If you did want to contribute something towards our honeymoon, it would be greatly appreciated. You can do so on the day or by bank transfer (just ask us for our details!) Thanks so much.
Are there any plans the night before?
We will be having casual drinks in the bar/restaurant of the venue the night before, everyone is welcome but no obligation to attend! Please see more info in 'the night before’ section above.
